Our Ourika Valley day trip commences at 9 am, departing from your lodging in Marrakech. We’ll embark on a brief journey from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, tracing the scenic route through the Ourika Valley, where you’ll be treated to the breathtaking panorama of vibrant colors that adorn the hillsides.

Our initial stop will be at a traditional Amazigh house nestled within the valley. Here, a welcoming local family will serve us tea and a typical Moroccan breakfast comprised of bread, honey, butter, and olive oil. Our next destination will be the Women’s Argan Oil Cooperative, where you’ll learn about the unique properties of Argan nuts, exclusive to Morocco. Moroccans have long recognized the remarkable benefits of the oil extracted from these nuts, which finds its application in both culinary and cosmetic realms.

Continuing on our journey, we will make our way to Setti Fatma, renowned for its seven exquisite waterfalls, dramatic cliffs, and lush green valleys. Explore the valley, capturing the beauty of the green terraces encircling the Atlas Mountains, and embark on a guided hike to the first waterfall. 

After this invigorating hike, we’ll return for a delightful lunch at a charming restaurant, where you can savor a diverse array of Moroccan dishes. Vegetarian options are available for those with dietary preferences. Following this satisfying meal, we’ll conclude our excursion and head back to Marrakech, with an estimated return time of around 5 pm.
