3 DAYS LUXURY DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO FEZ

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH / ATLAS MOUNTAINS / AIT BENHADDOU / OUARZAZATE / SKOURA

Start your journey from Marrakech at 8 a.m., heading to Ouarzazate. Along the way, you’ll pass through the picturesque Tichka Pass, located 2260 meters above sea level. Take a brief stop for photos at Tichka or simply admire the stunning Berber settlements beneath the Atlas Mountains. Continue your drive to Ouarzazate, where you can explore the famous movie studios and the historic Kasbah Taourirte. This kasbah was once the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech and stands as a symbol of the Atlas rulers’ era. Your day will conclude in Skoura oasis, where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 2: SKOURA / DADES VALLEY / TODRA GORGES / ERG CHEBBI

Following breakfast, depart from the Skoura oasis and head towards the Valley of the Roses. From there, continue your journey to the Todra Gorges, a stunning geological formation with towering cliffs reaching up to 200 meters. This narrow valley is surrounded by lush palm trees and dotted with traditional Berber villages. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the gorge before venturing deeper into the Sahara Desert to reach Merzouga. This desert town is renowned for housing Morocco’s largest natural underground water source and sits on the edge of the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes.

DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI / MIDELT / IFRANE / FES

Following breakfast in the desert, we head to Rissani, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the traditional Berber suq (market) and explore the historic ruins of the Kasbah of Sijilmasa. Continuing our journey, we pass through the picturesque Ziz Valley and Errachidia. A lunch stop is planned along the way. Our next destination is Azrou, known for its cedar forest, where you can encounter a group of Barbary apes.
